Some of those arrested during Operation "Bridge" appear before the Special Court today to be informed of the security measure imposed in absentia.
For two other arrested people, a day earlier, the Tirana Court approved their extradition to Italy and ordered "prison arrest" until the extradition procedures are completed.
Meanwhile, among the 29 most notorious names for whom SPAK has issued a security measure, are Elvis Doçi, known as Visi i Pojës. The latter guaranteed the trafficking of cocaine and heroin to Italy, through various 'couriers'. He is charged with four criminal offenses: "Trafficking in narcotics", "Laundering of the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity", committed in the special form of cooperation of a structured criminal group, "Structured criminal group" and "Committing criminal offenses by a criminal organization or structured criminal group".
Another name is that of Indrit Tafili, who faces the same charges.
Among the names is former police officer Altin Morina, arrested in April as part of Operation Revanshi. He has been given security measures in the detention facility where he is being held. He is accused of collaborating with Ekil Nderjaku in drug trafficking. Nderjaku's name also appears in the file in question, against whom a security measure has been issued.
Also interesting in the file is the evidence of an important relationship, that of Ervis Doçi, called 'Visi i Pojës', the nephew of Xhevdet Troplini, and Adi Çoba, the most important man in these investigations, against whom a security measure has been issued by the Italian authorities.
As for the Poja Visit, the repentant justice Nuredin Dumani describes him as an excellent negotiator of drug trafficking, details that came to light from the Italian file. Dumani says that Poja has a brutal group, among the most powerful operating in Albania.
