40-year-old man in Vora ends up in hospital, police: It is suspected that he was injured with a rifle in the apartment!

A 40-year-old man was admitted to the hospital this morning after being shot.

According to the police, the incident is suspected to have occurred inside his apartment in Marikaj, Vora, and he was injured in the leg.

The 40-year-old is under medical care, while the rifle, which he was in possession of without a permit, has been seized. The investigation team is working to clarify the full circumstances of the incident.

"On 26.05.2025, at around 03:30, citizen EA, 40 years old, presented himself to the hospital for treatment, after it is suspected that inside his apartment in Marikaj, he was wounded in the leg with a firearm. The 40-year-old is in the hospital, under the care of doctors. As material evidence, a rifle firearm, which the 40-year-old possessed without permission, was seized. The investigation team is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the case," the police announced.
