With falsified invoices, the investigation revealed that sums in euros were paid, which included accommodation expenses, sleeping, or various diets. It was also found that there was an increase in the days of service at FRONTEX, where from 10 to 14 days of work, the employees declared that they had worked for 30 days.
According to the rules of FRONTEX, in addition to the salary, the employees received extra payments for each kilometer of distance, 30 euros for daily food and 40 euros for accommodation.
