
An anti-drug operation was undertaken by State Police officers of District III Fidene-Serpentara, coordinated by the Prosecutor's Office of Rome, who, during various services to fight drug trafficking, arrested 5 people on suspicion of drug distribution.
Specifically, the police of District III, after an intensive investigative activity, arrived on via Publio Elio at the house of a 28-year-old Albanian, where they found hidden in the bedroom about 979 blocks of hashish weighing about 72 kg in total, 13 electronic cigarettes , in the tank of which there was liquid with a narcotic effect, various drug packaging materials and about 30,000 euros in cash.
The police, in via Giorgio Pelasca, carried out a search of a car finding two bags in the back seat with numerous blocks of hashish weighing about 22 kg inside; while during the search of the driver's apartment, 6 kg of hashish and 3 grams of cocaine were found hidden in the kitchen refrigerator. Meanwhile, it is reported that a 44-year-old Italian woman was arrested by the police.
Following the operation, in Via Siculiana, they had the opportunity to see a man who, with a careful attitude, was taking out an envelope from the hood of a car and then giving it to another person. They identified the 52-year-old and the 29-year-old, both Italians, and found 1.5 kilograms of hashish inside the bag. Further, the 29-year-old man was found with 3,000 euros, while the 52-year-old man had 2,845 euros. Further, in the dashboard of the car, the officers found another 4,850 euros in cash divided into banknotes of different denominations.
In via Pavia, they noticed a man walking between parked cars in a suspicious manner; they checked him, identifying him as a 45-year-old Italian, and found over 400 grams of hashish and 85 euros; then they arrested him.
The Judicial Authority, at the request of the local Public Prosecutor's Office, has certified the arrests.
