The Director of the Vlora Police has provided details of the arrest of Flodian Plaku in Orikum. According to the police, Flodian Plaku was armed with a gun ready to shoot at the time of his arrest. Plaku is the suspected perpetrator of the murder of Gentjan Bejtja.
In a special press conference, the Blues announced that at the moment of the arrest of "Pole Qorri" 17 cartridges, 7 mobile phones and 25 thousand euros in cash were found and seized, in addition to the 2 firearms that Report TV managed to learn from the first moments of his arrest. Also, the police report emphasized that one of the weapons found on him had a cartridge in the chamber.
Together with Flodian Plaku, also known by the surnames Mamo and Serjani and with the nickname "Pole Qorri". Julian Aliaj, alias Julian Pasho, was arrested yesterday. The latter was also arrested in 2019 in Italy for drug trafficking, as a member of the criminal gang led by Flodian Plaku. who was also arrested at that time for the same crime. The boats with cannabis were loaded in Albania and sent to Brindisi. The drugs were distributed from Puglia to Rome, Naples, Milan and Florence via couriers.
Flodian Plaku lived mainly in Greece and Italy, and was declared wanted after the "prison arrest" measure issued against him on charges of being one of the three perpetrators of the murder of former police officer Gentjan Bejtja, in Larushk, Fushë-Krujë, within the perimeter of his apartment, while he was watering vegetables in the garden and in the presence of family members.
The crime is suspected to have occurred with motives of revenge, as a result of the war of revenge and rivalry between the criminal groups of Fushë-Krujë, Ervis Martinaj, Indrit Dokles and Durim Bami.
Just 4 days after Gentjan Bejtja was murdered, police arrested Ilir Beqarajn - alias Ilir Brahimi, alias Ilir Mançellari - 41 years old, and Edison Haxhiu, 30 years old, as suspected mafia executioners and accomplices. After the incident, they burned the crime car and the weapons in the suburbs and fled in another vehicle.
