
The police of Saranda gave other details about the bones found the day before in Saranda.
The victim is a 51-year-old man from Elbasan, who worked as a shepherd in the village of Xarre, who, according to the police, died of natural causes and that his dismembered body was torn apart by wild animals.
"Following the preliminary information provided yesterday, regarding the finding of human bone remains, in the process of decomposition, near the cemetery of the village of Xarre, we inform you that the crime investigation specialists of the Sarandë Police Station have continued the controls in the area and the investigative actions for this case.
As a result, it became possible to find the body to which the bone remains belonged and identify the corpse, citizen AJ, 51 years old, resident of Elbasan.
From the investigations so far carried out by the investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Sarandë, it is suspected that this citizen (employed as a shepherd in the village of Xarrë) died of natural causes and that his body the dead body is torn apart by wild animals. The materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police said.
