The identification was carried out by the forensic medicine, but also after the investigation by the police of Saranda. 53-year-old Adnant Kaupi had been missing for about 2-3 months. His family members were also interested in this. From the investigation, there are no signs of hitting with hard tools or a bullet that could have resulted in his death.

The place where his body was found, first the head and then the decomposed but unburied body was found hidden in a tunnel about 1 m wide and 3-4 m long.
