Two Albanians and an Italian were arrested by police in Turin, who seized a quantity of 11 kg of cocaine, seized in various operations in Nichelino.
Three suspects were arrested, who are also suspected of being leaders of the drug distribution group in the area.
The police intervention took place at the moment a load of 7.7 kg of cocaine was being distributed from one car to another.
The agents provided information about the exchange agreement near the Nichelinos industrial area. They then organized a surveillance operation that yielded results: a few hours later, two cars with 3 people on board arrived, almost simultaneously.
As one car pulled into a parking lot, the other drove around before approaching the first. The driver of the second car got out of the vehicle with a plastic bag, approached the other vehicle, and moments later placed it in his car. At that point, officers intervened.
Police said that a total of 11 kg of cocaine were seized, of which 7.7 kg were from the person with the bag who pulled them and the rest in the trunk of the second car, where the other two people were. About 5 thousand euros in cash were also seized. A special compartment was created in the car under the passenger seat to hide the goods, the media reports.
During the operation, which also extended to the suspects' home, 4,800 euros and drug packaging materials were also seized. The three have been isolated in detention facilities, pending investigations.
