
A 23-year-old man was arrested by police in Kamëz after he was riding a motorcycle armed and disobeying a stop order.
According to the data, the young man with the initials AK was observed by officers while driving a motorcycle. He refused to stop and continued driving at high speed, forcing the police to pursue him.
After the chase, he was detained along with the 18-year-old passenger, who was arrested for failing to report a crime.
During the search of the motorcycle, police found a firearm, a pistol with live ammunition, and a mask. Later, two other weapons, a shotgun and a sporting gun, were seized from the 23-year-old's apartment.
"He was traveling armed and wearing a mask, the 23-year-old was arrested, who did not obey the police order to stop the motorcycle he was driving.

The passenger in the vehicle was also in handcuffs for failing to report the crime.
Following the operations conducted based on checks and operational work, with the objective of identifying and detaining citizens who violate public security and pose a risk of committing criminal acts against persons and property, the services of Police Commissariat No. 5 organized and finalized the operation codenamed "Risk".
During the operation, a stop sign was issued in the village of Çekrezë to the motorcycle driven by citizens AK, 23 years old, and AA, 18 years old, both residents of Kamëz. The driver, citizen AK, did not obey the order, but continued driving the motorcycle at high speed.
As a result of the pursuit, both citizens were caught and handcuffed. A search of the vehicle was also conducted, where 1 firearm, a pistol with live ammunition, and 1 mask were found.
Further, a search was conducted at the 23-year-old's apartment, where 1 shotgun and 1 sporting weapon were found.
"The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police said.
