The brother of the 30-year-old woman who gave birth and abandoned the baby in a palace basement in Astir, who later died in the hospital, spoke to the media today.
He said that he was not aware of the fact that his sister was pregnant, adding that he no longer loved himself and that he did not forgive her for the gesture.
"I don't know if he loved it. He didn't talk to others. He was talking to some girls. My sister had blocked him and he had started a relationship with someone from Lushnja. There is another child outside. I want to know; why did he do this behind my back? Don't get my sister drunk. My sister has told him that she is pregnant. He told him; I don't want to know. If I had known, I would have taken him to the hospital myself..I would have done everything. I don't even forgive myself for what she did. I didn't yell at him; I told him that this is not good for you, look at the right path. No one told me. "No one has told me at all," he said.
