A 25-year-old man was arrested in Tirana, after being caught with drugs.
According to the police, the young man was arrested after being accused of selling narcotics in different areas of the capital. The 25-year-old procured the drug in Kruja and then sold it in different areas of Tirana.
For him, the court had set the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics".
"Finalized after several months of investigations by the Narcotics Investigation Section, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, the coded police operation "Qereka". A 25-year-old accused of selling narcotics in various areas of Tirana was arrested.
During the investigation period, 3.5 kg of suspected narcotic substance cannabis, which this citizen is suspected to have secured in Krujë, was seized.
The Narcotics Investigation Specialists of DVP Tirana, following the work to crack down on the criminal activity of the distribution of narcotics, after a genuine investigative work of several months, with proactive methods, in the direction of the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction Tirana, have organized and finalized the coded police operation "Qereka". As part of this operation, the citizen FB, 25 years old, resident in Tirana, was arrested and detained.
The Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana has set for this citizen, the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics", since the investigative actions have shown that the 25-year-old, after providing in Krujë, a suspected narcotic substance of the cannabis type, was then distributed in doses in different areas of Tirana.
During the development of this operation, 3.5 kg of suspected narcotic substance cannabis were seized. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions," the police announced.
