The 5 voice messages that Alma Arrazi sent to her sister Gentjana Z by phone have been released, expressing the miserable state of her marriage with her husband, Erdgys Arrazi.
These voice messages were cited in the court file as the main evidence for Arraz's 4-year prison sentence on the charge of "Causing suicide" through psychological pressure and physical violence.
"Ora News" journalist Elton Qyno has learned that before committing the extreme act of self-sacrifice in the waters of the Buna River in Shkodra, Alma Arrazi had left her apartment and her 3 children, working as a cleaner in a restaurant kitchen.
She told her sister that she felt good and was paid 1,000 euros a month, but she missed her children and that one of her daughters often cried for her mother.
Even though the girl was crying because she missed her mother, she was ordered by her father to stop immediately and not listen to her mother's voice anymore.
The case of Alma Arraz shows a woman exhausted by her painful fate, and this is clearly evident in the audio messages that Alma sends to her sister, Gentjana.
Alma informs her sister about the children's situations, the marital relationship that has broken down due to a parallel affair, and the conversations she had on the phone with her sister-in-law, Vali, the wife of Edison Arraz, who at the time was in prison, as a suspect in the murder of Endri Mustafa and "Production and sale of narcotics" in Shkodra.
According to the audio messages, Edison spoke from prison with his brother to bring Alma home to her children, but Eri, as she called her husband, was also lying to his own brother.
Alma tells her sister that she caught her husband in adultery and asked him for a favor so that he wouldn't get the girl he was having an affair with pregnant.
"...please, can you please do it for me, I told him, when you go with him, be careful not to get him pregnant because I have children to worry about. I told him that tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, my children, I don't want to have a sister or a brother, just from their father. Can you do this honor for my children, not for me. Because I told him, you and I have finished our work, we will never have any more work..."
The five audio messages emerged from an examination of a USB with photos, videos, and voice messages extracted from the "Samsung" A14 mobile phone, owned by the victim's sister, Gentjana Z....
The examination revealed that there are five voice messages on the USB that are communications between the late Alma Arrazi and her sister Gentjana Z.
In the first audio, Alma expresses herself to her sister as follows: "...yes, my, yes, that's how it is, even though I don't know, if I didn't want to, she would have asked me, she was expressing herself... yes, I did it too... ........No, my, I'm not going to leave... I'm going to leave.."
Meanwhile, in the second audio, Alma again expresses herself to her sister with this audio message:
"...I don't know what to do sister...I'm just enduring this. I'm doing very well...because even at work they have me, they're killing us in the kitchens and the tables are getting dirty, I have nowhere to go, I have nowhere to hide...as long as he's around, I'm not going back to Eri...I'm doing very well, your sister...for better or worse, I'll put 1000 euros in your pocket...".
In the third audio, Alma tells her sister about the interest she had in the children and an unusual situation with one of the girls who was crying after looking for her mother, Alma, who had left to work as a cleaner in a kitchen.
One of the girls started crying, but according to her, her husband, Erdgys Arrazi, intervened on the phone, who ultimatum-wise told the girl to calm down and stop crying for her mother.
Even regarding the children's situation and Alma's departure from home, her sister-in-law Vali had spoken on the phone with her husband, Edison Arrazi, who was in prison at the time, who, according to the voice message left by Alma, had told his wife that:
"...Does he (Eri) ever think that I will get out of prison? I will have him bring Alma home, to his children, and he (Eri) can go and live with whoever he wants..."
Among other things, Alma sends this voice message to her sister as follows:
“…go away sister, what can I say.. ask her about the children, she says they are fine (sister-in-law Vali)… Ergesa cried today for me and this (sister-in-law) called Er on the phone and said “…take care of Ergesa and tell her how upset the girl is, or cry about Alma. This (Eri) said give me the phone here and told the girl, Ergesa, don't make me cry because I'm going to do this, cry for her, he scared the girl, he didn't even let me cry. Meanwhile “Coli” (Edison Arrazi) had called today. He had called Er on the phone and called her mother, she said (sister-in-law Vali). Call “Coli”, tell Er to take Alma and drop her off at my house… don't leave the children alone… because that sister is doing a lot for the children… Okay, okay Eri said, I'll sort this out tomorrow. He lied to his brother. Vali told him, it's your fault that he (Eri) broke things off with Alma. Does he (Eri) ever think that I'll get out of prison? I'll have him bring Alma home to his children, and he can go and live with whoever he wants..."
In the fourth audio, Alma says:
“…Do you have any hope that he will agree with me, you see that I have lost my mind, I have lost my mind badly, and I don’t agree with him anymore, he has a problem now… Why did you ask him to remove the block? What do you mean? Talk to me, when in the meantime I removed the wet letters from the car the day before yesterday, that you went with that woman I said. What do you want from me now…?. He also wrote to me: Do you have a problem with that…? Masanej took me and said: Do you have a problem with that…? Yes… I told him I have a problem with that, I’m not kidding. Okay, can you block me because he has a problem, sister, because you see that I am determined, because you remember that I am sitting and talking to him, and I agree……there is one last thing I wanted to say to him. Please, can you please tell him, when you go with him, be careful not to get him pregnant because I have a problem with that children. I told him that tomorrow or the day after tomorrow I don't want my children to have a sister or a brother, just from their father. Can you do this honor for one of my children, not for me, because I told him for me, you and I have finished our work, we will never have any more work….”
Meanwhile, in the fifth audio message sent to her sister, Alma states that her sister-in-law Vali may have been the cause of her separation from her husband, Erdgys. Among other things, she tells her sister:
"...and Eri told (Vali's sister-in-law) to block Alma, then I talked to her and Vali blocked me, he said: "...what should I do, Eri told me..." This one wanted us to separate, this one below, I could hardly wait to be separated from Eri...".
Meanwhile, further examination reveals that on the USB, there are 2 videos where it is observed that the defendant Erdgys Arrazi is driving with a girl, whose face is not visible, but only her hand touching Erdgys's face is visible.
It was precisely this illicit relationship that Erdgys Arrazi had created in parallel with a young girl, which caused his wife, Alma Arrazi, to drown along with her 3 children in the Buna River a year ago, creating one of the most painful tragedies experienced by the city of Shkodra./ Ora News
