An Egyptian citizen has been arrested by Kruja police, suspected of being the perpetrator of thefts in this area.
According to an official announcement, as a result of organized work and based on the review of video footage, the perpetrator of the two thefts, Egyptian citizen M. Sh., 43 years old, resident of Nikël, was identified, captured and put in handcuffs.
Specifically, it is suspected that this citizen:
• on 20.09.2025, he broke into a bar in Nikël and stole a large amount of money;
• on 03.10.2025, he stole tools from a warehouse in the village of Qerekë.
Investigations are ongoing to uncover other thefts that the 43-year-old may have committed.
The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action, for the criminal offense of "Theft".
