The Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) has issued an arrest warrant for Jetmir Pepa, known as Mir Pepa, a person with a previous criminal record and who has been wanted for months.
Who is Mir Pepa?
Mir Pepa, who has been described in the media in recent days as a businessman, a few years ago took the surname of his ex-girlfriend Xhulia Marashi, Oriola Marashi's sister, to hide from justice.
Pepa is known by everyone as one of the richest people in Albania, where he has been previously talked about as having been in a relationship with some of the sexiest Albanian models, and he is also very noticeable for his extravagant and expensive lifestyle.
But Jetmir Pepa alias Marashi is not unknown to the police. In July 2021, he, along with Altin Gjoka, escaped an assassination attempt in Tirana.
The suspected perpetrator of that event, citizen Aldo Lamandi (Gj), and his two associates, Njazi Kulla and Besard Pashkaj, were declared wanted.
Pepa has been wanted by the Tirana Police since January 2025, following a shooting incident in the Olympic Park during a festive concert on New Year's Eve. According to the data, after a conflict, Pepa fired two shots into an environment filled with young people and then fled the scene.
At the time of the shooting, rapper Stresi was performing on stage, while other well-known artists, including Dafina Zeqiri, were expected to participate. The event was taking place at the Olympic Park hall on “Liman Kaba” street in Tirana.
His name has also been mentioned in another incident, that of the conflict involving the Berisha sisters and blogger Klea Prenga, where he is rumored to be Marinela Berisha's former partner.
