Images from inside the apartments engulfed in fire in the complex near the University Hospital in Tirana have been published, where the damage is devastating.
As can be seen from the video, the flames have consumed almost everything inside the apartments, burning furniture, electrical appliances and the residents' personal belongings. In some areas, the damage is so extensive that it has even affected the internal structure of the apartments themselves.
The walls and ceilings appear blackened and severely damaged by high temperatures, while in some cases it appears that the fire has penetrated deep into the structure, rendering the dwelling uninhabitable.
The images show a high intensity of flames, which have engulfed not only the facade, but also the interior spaces of the building, causing extensive material damage.
Meanwhile, authorities are continuing their investigations to determine the cause of the fire, while a full assessment of the damage is expected in the coming days.
