Photos of the suspected perpetrator and victims of the serious incident that occurred in Podgorica have been published, while the police have intensified the operation to capture him. It is Vehad Muric, 25 years old, wanted as a suspect in a triple murder in the area known as "Stari Aerodrom".
According to the official announcement, the police authorities, in coordination with the High Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, have taken urgent measures to locate and arrest the suspect. All police structures have been put at the disposal of the operation, while citizens have been called upon to report any information that could help in his capture.
Meanwhile, police have confirmed the identities of two of the victims, brothers Denis Hoti, 28, and Nezir Hoti, 27, originally from Rozaja. The third victim has not yet been officially identified by authorities.
" All available capacities of the Police Directorate have been made available in order to find and detain him, and we also call on citizens to provide all information that may be relevant to his whereabouts. If they have any information regarding this person, we ask citizens to report this information to the nearest police station or by calling 122, and if they find themselves in the same area or building with this person, to be careful ," the police announced, reports " Vijesti ".
Preliminary investigation data shows that the crime occurred at night, in a rented apartment in Podgorica, where the victims and the suspect were temporarily living due to work at a construction site. Police sources indicate that the incident is not related to a clash between criminal groups, but is suspected to have resulted from a personal conflict between the parties.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the murder may have been committed with a cold weapon. After the incident, the suspect is suspected of having fled towards Rozhaja, where according to initial information he also abused his mother in the family home.
The crime was discovered after a complaint from family members, which led to police intervention and the launch of an investigation. Authorities are continuing intensive checks to capture the 25-year-old, while the full circumstances of the incident remain under investigation.
Police are calling on citizens, if they have information on the suspect's whereabouts, to contact law enforcement immediately, also emphasizing the need for maximum caution in case they encounter him.
