Two brothers from Gjirokastra have been arrested, suspected of being involved in the murder of a person. According to information from the police, the incident took place in 2018 in Dibër.
From the search of the two brothers' apartment, the blue uniforms found and confiscated 3 firearms (2 Kalashnikovs and 1 rifle), 1 cold weapon, 3 combs and combat ammunition, 1 mask and 3 mobile phones.
The arrested are Kelmend and Klodian Krusa.
"The Dibër Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with the Criminal Police Department and the Gjirokastër Local Police Directorate, have arrested two brothers, suspected of involvement in the murder of a citizen, an event that occurred in 2018 in the Dibër district.
During the search of their apartments in Gjirokastra, the police seized:
3 firearms (2 Kalashnikovs and 1 rifle),
1 cold weapon (knife),
3 combs and combat ammunition,
1 mask and 3 mobile phones.
The weapons will undergo examinations at the Institute of Scientific Police to verify whether they were used in the 2018 murder or in other criminal events.
"The investigative structures of the Dibër Police Department, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continue intensive investigations to fully clarify the incident and to arrest other suspects involved in this case," the police announced.
