Social networks and especially "TikTok" seem to have turned into a tool of pressure, blackmail and bullying. After the tragic event in Durrës, the police have handcuffed a young man who was exerting pressure through this social network.
More precisely, a 32-year-old man was arrested by the police of Elbasan, as he is accused of demanding money from a 29-year-old man, threatening him that if he did not pay, he would misuse his photos, as well as those of his family members.
The 32-year-old, identified as Aldo Sabriu, has been blackmailing a 29-year-old through the social network "Tik-Tok" for several months, that if the latter did not give him money, the 32-year-old would use it photos of the 29-year-old and his family members, to create fake profiles on social networks.
" As a result of quick investigative and operational actions, the specialists for the Investigation of Crimes against the Person and Property, in cooperation with the services of the Operational Force of the DVP Elbasan, have captured and arrested the citizen AS, 32 years old, resident of Elbasan, for the criminal offense" Coercion by means of threats or violence to give away property ," the police inform.
