Another serious incident happened today where a 24-year-old man lost his life during the work process.
The young man was working in a quarry in the village of Brataj in Selenica and it is suspected that during the screed works he was damaged by the stones and as a result he died.
A few hours later, a 29-year-old miner lost his life while working in a mine in Martanesh.
"Around 3:30 p.m., in the village of Brataj, Selenicë, citizen JV, 24 years old, a worker in the quarry of this village, is suspected to have accidentally been injured by stones while working with screed and as a result lost his life.
The investigative group is at the scene and is working to clarify the circumstances of the incident," the police announced.
