Venice police have arrested 15 people involved in the mass trafficking of cocaine and marijuana between Italy, Spain and Colombia.
According to reports from the Italian media, 8 Albanian citizens, 3 Colombians and 4 Italians have been arrested.
During the operation, it was learned that 1.5 kilograms of cocaine, 15 thousand euros in cash, a small car modified on the chassis for transporting drugs and 15 smartphones were seized.
It is learned that the drugs were intended to supply drug trading centers not only in Vicenza, but also in many municipalities in the province of Berica and in those of Mantua and Brescia.
The investigation started in September 2023, started with the arrest of three Albanians who were caught with over 1200 doses of cocaine in an apartment in Altavilla Vicentina (Vicenza).
The turnover of the organization, according to an estimate of the investigators, is about half a million euros and an estimated income of over 3.3 million euros, which would have been reinvested in drug trafficking and partly in the purchase of real estate in Italy and abroad, even even in the purchase of shares in Spanish night clubs.
During the investigations, an illegal Albanian was also arrested, who was found with 500 doses of cocaine. During the raid, a laboratory for the cultivation, drying and packaging of marijuana was discovered on a farm in Monte di Malo (Vicenza).
