The Durrës Prosecutor's Office is nearing the finalization of the investigations for the police officer Adelion Vila and the citizens Denis Muçaj, Egnis Gojani and Alketa Kollçaku, employees of the concession company of the container terminal "Mariner Adriatic", who are accused of allowing a container in violation of the law with bananas from the company Zico Sha, to be taken out of the Port.
VNA brings for the first time the full details of this story, which caused a sensation some time ago, because the company Zico Sha is owned by Trifon Murataj, a well-known businessman who is currently wanted for drug issues.
In the case in question, the denunciation was made by the company itself, however, investigations so far have revealed that the truck transporting the container arrived at a service station in Shkozet, where it was unloaded and they took 2 crates that allegedly contained drugs.
File details
In the file of the prosecution institution, it is stated that: On December 8, 2023 at around 14:53, the "Renault" truck with license plate AA760HL, driven by citizen Durim Halka, entered the Durres Sea Port and then the Durres Port Container Terminal , in order to withdraw the container belonging to the company "Zico sha".
His registration at the entrance gate was carried out by the operator Alketa Kallçaku, who, as it appears from the documents, made the registration without having the relevant documentation.
"This is because the driver of the truck did not have a practice from customs and authorization from the agency and the company Zico sha, for the withdrawal of the container", it is emphasized in the file.
The prosecution institution states that after loading the container at around 16:00 on December 8, 2023, the truck left the terminal and then the perimeter of the Durrës Seaport, where no exit registration was made for it.
From the verifications in the Navis 4 system, it turned out that the operator who should have performed this action was the citizen Denis Musaj. At around 18:00 on the same date, the truck returned again loaded with the container and entered the container terminal of the Durrës Sea Port, unloading the container on the square and no registration practice was carried out for its entry.

From the examination of the video footage regarding the route followed by the truck loaded with the container number "SEGU944869" after leaving the port in Durres at 16:00 on December 8, 2023 until the moment of re-entering the port 2 and a half hours later on the same day, it turns out that the truck went to a private parking lot in Shkoza, neighborhood 14 Durrës owned by Axhelo Kokomani. Behind the truck was the accompanying car, a white jeep with red license plates, the license plate of which is unknown, and behind it a gray Mercedez Benz.
According to the witnesses, it turns out that Adelion Vila was the driver of the gray Marcedez Benz car. He has a father Pëllumb Cila guard in the parking lot of Kokomani.
Adelion Vila asked the forklift driver Edmond Bomi to unload the container and he did this in cooperation with other citizens not identified by the prosecution.
After the container was opened, a pallet of crates of bananas was lowered, and from the side of the forklift operator, Edmond Bomi and Adelion Vila, together with other people, got into the truck and unloaded some items.
After 30-40 minutes, the forklift operator returned to reload the bale of bananas he had unloaded and saw a crate of bananas on the ground.
After loading, the container was closed by falsifying the seals and at 18:20 he left the parking lot and headed towards the Port of Durrës. The Jeep and Mercedes Benz cars have been left unaccounted for.
The role of employees of the concessionaire company
From the verifications carried out in the documentation of the company "Mariner Adriatik", which is the entity that administers the procedures for the entry and exit of containers from the terminal, it was found that the registration of the truck was carried out by Alketa Kallcaku.
Meanwhile, Kallcaku has not presented any documentation saved by the driver of this truck to tow the container. From the verification of the customs practice for the container, it appears that it is dated December 9, 2023. So it was compiled the day after and on December 8, when the movement of the container was carried out, there was no customs practice or authorization from the relevant agency.
Company letter
The file states that representatives of the "Zico sha" company presented a photocopy of the minutes according to which the container was checked at the port of Gioia Tauro Italy on November 20, 2023.
As part of the investigation, the container was opened and examined in the premises of the monitoring area of the ferry terminal at the Durrës seaport, during which it was found that it was in a closed state and two security bullets were placed.
"After the plumb lines have been cut, the banana boxes have been removed. Another security bullet was found on his floor. After the first pallet of banana boxes was removed, a pair of optical glasses with a brown skeleton were found on the floor of the container," the file states.
It turned out that in the part of the pallets with bananas, the supporting strips of the boxes in the upper part were moved from their place.
"In the container, it was found that two bananas were missing from the pallet. A total of 1096 boxes were loaded. Meanwhile, 1098 boxes were marked in the customs declaration", it is further stated.
During the inspection, no illegal items were found in the banana boxes, except for the glasses, which were sent for examination to determine if fingerprints were found.

The prosecution was able to build the entire route of the truck's movement from the moment it leaves the port of Durrës until it re-enters two and a half hours later. From the examination of the cameras, it appears that the truck left from entrance no. 4 of the Port and behind it came the white Golf 7 type vehicle belonging to the citizen Adelion Vila. The truck has taken the direction to Shkoze, crossing the Ura e Dajldani overpass, where it turns out that in this place, it is accompanied by a gray Mercedes-Benz B-class vehicle and then Adelion Vila's golf cart. When they went to the coffee bar "M...", which is located on Bajram Curri street, Shkoze, district no. 14 in Durrës, at 4:07 p.m., Adelion Vila's Golf 7 overtook the B-Class and was behind the truck.
From the inspection of the cameras of the Krasniqi gas station located on "Bajram Tusha" street, Shkozet, it appears that at 16:08 Golfi Adleion Vila overtook the truck and parked at the gas station. Adelioni, dressed in black, got out of the car alone.
A minute before him, it turns out that a gray Jeep type vehicle with red license plates arrives at the gas station. While from behind there is no license plate, with black windows, who parks behind the gas station. Immediately after him comes a black Mercedes Benz C-Class vehicle inside which are two citizens, one driver and the other passenger, who do not get out of the car, but park the car in the left corner of the bar next to the gas station .
The driver of the "Jeep" vehicle, Hysen Zeqiri, known as "Little Cenia", gets out of the car where he was alone and approaches the driver's window of the C-Class, talks to him and enters the bar. He then exits the back entrance of the bar, talks on the phone and goes to start the Jeep, while the C-Class reverses and faces the road. Adelion Vila leaves his car and climbs into the Jeep driven by Hysen Zeqiri. Both cars continue on Bajram Tusha Shkozet street, in the direction of the Shkozet intersection. The truck, accompanied by the vehicles in question, was sent to the Kokomani service station and with the help of a forklift operator, the bales were unloaded and 2 crates of bananas were taken. It is then loaded again and returned to Port./VNA
