A boy of only 13 years, of Albanian origin, died in his sleep at his home in Traversetolo, in the province of Parma. It was his 17-year-old sister who discovered the tragedy this Tuesday morning, before 08:00. The family immediately called emergency services, but unfortunately nothing could be done for the 13-year-old.
According to what La Repubblica reports, the cause of the minor's death is suspected to have been a heart attack that struck the 13-year-old while he was asleep. However, the autopsy will determine the cause of death. The carabinieri have also started investigations into the case.
The death of the 13-year-old has deeply affected the community in Traversetolo, where the Albanian family has been living for years. Mayor Simone Dall'Orto expressed his condolences to the family for the untimely loss of their son.
