New details have emerged regarding the father and son who lost their lives today as a result of the explosion in Lushnje.
It is learned that today was the first day of work for both of them, but they did not know that this would also be the last day. While the young man, 20 years old, had only recently returned from emigration.
The serious event was marked this afternoon, when a large explosion occurred in a silo in Lushnje.
It was 3:30 p.m. when father and son Landi and Lidio Hoxha were on the crane and accidentally touched the high voltage wires, a move that took their lives.
It is suspected that an oxygen cylinder triggered the powerful explosion that also left several injured, among them the Socialist MP Bujar Çela.
As a result of the explosion, Roland Hoxha, the crane driver, died at the scene, while his son, Lidio, died on the way to Tirana for trauma.
