Another quantity of explosives was thrown in the tourist village of Razma in Malësi e Madhe and in the apartment of businessman Gjovalin Shtjefni.
Immediately after the May 24 explosion that took place in the parking lot where the advertisement of the hotel of the head of the DP Reestablishment, Ferdi Sterkaj, is located, another explosion involved the private house of the citizen Gjovalin Shtjefni, a well-known businessman in Shkodër in the field of fashion for many years.
The amount of tritol in Shtjefni's apartment was thrown by the perpetrators approximately 3 minutes after the advertisement of Sterkaj's hotel exploded, who, in addition to being the newly elected chairman of the Re-establishment of the Democratic Party, is also a businessman and the owner of one of the largest hotels in Razem of the Great Highlands. .
The security cameras in both of these places where the two successive explosions occurred are missing to help the local police of Shkodra and the police station of Malësi e Madhe to identify the perpetrators. However, two cars can be seen moving along Razma's pedestrian walkway, and it is suspected that the perpetrators who threw the tritol were in one of them.
The police suspect that the amount of explosives was released from inside the vehicle, without landing on the ground, and then left in an unknown direction without leaving a trace. So far, the investigative team has not succeeded in discovering the suspected perpetrators. The police are investigating every possible clue about these two consecutive explosions a day ago in Razem, while the cause of these events is still unclear.
Ferdi Sterkaj stated that the tritol explosion is not related to him because it happened in a public parking lot that is shared even though his hotel's advertisement is there. Sterkaj also added that he has no conflicts with anyone. Similarly, the other businessman Gjovalin Shtjefni has stated that there are no conflicts and that there were no previous threats, so he has no idea who the perpetrators could be.
The two explosions happened around 8:50 a.m. the day before, when foreign or local tourists go out to enjoy breakfast in this tourist area. Although there was movement of tourists, the perpetrators chose to carry out this criminal event during the day. The police are continuing their investigations to fully clarify these two events.
