A 30-year-old Albanian man has been handcuffed by the English authorities after being caught inside a 'grass house'.

The arrested person is said to be Alger Çepele, who was caught hiding among cannabis plants in a "grass house" in Wellingborough.

The arrest of the Albanian came after an operation carried out on December 8 by the Police in the area. During the search of the property, officers found Çepele hiding in a bedroom with 304 cannabis plants in various states of growth.

As material evidence, the Police seized the cannabis plants. The narcotics were worth over £45,000.

In addition to the cannabis plants, three mobile phones, associated equipment needed to produce the plant and a weekly planner containing a detailed watering schedule were also seized.

Çepele was sentenced to 18 months in prison, while in his testimony he said that he was forced to work because he had debts to repay. Debts which had come from the high payment to arrive in England.
