After about a week in a coma, the 44-year-old Albanian has lost the battle with his life, closing his eyes forever.
The 44-year-old was drinking coffee in a bar known as the "Cafe of Albanians", named "Te Xhoni", where a person shot him with 4 bullets. Kaza received one bullet in the head and three in the chest, which were also fatal.
The police are working for the complete clarification of this event as well as for the identification and arrest of the author, as so far 14 people who are suspected of having knowledge of the event have been accompanied.
Foreign media report that it is suspected that the incident took place for revenge motives, as Agustin Kaza's brother, Martin Kaza, is accused of murdering the two Gjini brothers.
How did the revenge between the Kaza and Gjini tribes begin?
On January 7, 1994, the city of Rrëshen was shocked by the murder of the crime boss, Ndue Kaza. He was allegedly shot in the middle of the city by Dod Gjini and Augustin Gjini, who escaped after the incident.
In 1997 , the citizen Martin Kaza killed the brothers Dod Gjini and Augustin Gjini, who were the suspected perpetrators of his brother's murder in 1994, in revenge in the city of Laçi.
Martin Kaza was sentenced for the murder to 22 years in prison for the criminal offenses "Murder with premeditation, carried out in cooperation" and "Carrying weapons without a permit".
Kaza was arrested in London, while in 2017 he was extradited and continues to serve his sentence in Albania.
