He was found dead on the Korçë-Pogradec axis, the identity of the 40-year-old man has been revealed

A serious incident is reported to have happened this evening on the Korçë-Pogradec national axis, where 40-year-old Florant Palla was found without signs of life, near the village of Leshnicë.

According to the police, it is suspected that the victim was hit by an unknown vehicle, which then left the scene.

"The investigative team under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office is at the scene and is working to clarify the circumstances of the incident, identify the vehicle and its driver who is suspected of causing an accident resulting in the death of the citizen Florant Palla," the police announced. 

In the meantime, the Police services are continuing checks in service stations and various premises along the Korçë - Pogradec road axis and in the surrounding villages, with the aim of finding the vehicle and arresting its driver.
