
A 32-year-old Albanian was arrested by the German police after being caught with drugs.
Yesterday evening, during the check at the train station in Kaldenkirchen, where the young man was a passenger, the comparison of personal data showed that he was wanted by the Italian authorities with an international arrest warrant for extradition for property crimes.
During the checks, the police found and seized 20 grams of cocaine in his jacket pocket.
The Albanian was arrested at the scene and sent to the Kempen Federal Police Station for further proceedings. The accused was processed for identification and remains in custody until the measure of arrest is communicated to him before appearing in court.
