A 44-year-old Albanian man was arrested by the Italian police after a quantity of drugs was found in the car he was driving.

The anti-drug operation by the Carabinieri of the Operative and Radiomobile Unit of Perugia arrested the 44-year-old in the act. After checking the Albanian's vehicle, the Italian police found 30 doses of cocaine hidden in different places in his car.

Also, in the subsequent control at the Albanian's house, the carabinieri found packaging materials, three mobile phones as well as around 900 euros in cash, probably proceeds from drug sales activities.

The judge of the Court of Perugia has validated the arrest, imposing on the Albanian the measure of ensuring the obligation to appear before the judicial police.
