Aranit Kurti, 23 years old, and Flori Paluçi, 33 years old, were killed by gunfire after a conflict that occurred in Manëz, Durrës at around 01:45.
The conflict started over a coffee and during the debate Flori Paluçi shot and killed Aranit Kurti. After this action, 21-year-old Daniel Pepa shot and killed Flori Paluçi.
Daniel Pepa's cousin is a waiter at the bar where the incident occurred. Flori Paluçi entered the bar and asked for coffee, while the espresso machine was turned off at that time and he had a conflict with the waiter Alteo Pepa, about why he was not turning on the espresso machine to make him coffee.
Meanwhile, Aranit Kurti, Daniel Pepa's friend, intervened, as he was the friend's cousin.
There, Flori Paluçi killed Aranit Kurti and then Daniel Pepa came and killed Flori Paluçi.
The three young men involved in the conflict had previous acquaintances, and all three often frequented the bar where the incident occurred.
Police services have announced that they are conducting intensive searches in the area to capture the suspect with the initials Daniel Pepa, who has been declared wanted.
They managed to seize only one of the weapons used.
Meanwhile, a special investigative team is continuing to work at the scene to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident, to identify any other possible persons involved, and to administer evidence that will lead to the legal documentation of the case.
