The hearing for the determination of a security measure against 41-year-old Ylber Jaku, the suspected perpetrator of the murder of 34-year-old Reshi Sallahu, a crime that occurred in the village of Plan in Has, was held today at the Kukës Court.
It is learned that the session was held behind closed doors as the measures judge, after hearing the prosecutor present for the file acts and preliminary evidence, as well as the suspect's lawyer, determined at the end of the session the measure "arrest in prison".
The serious incident occurred on May 7, two days after the victim's sister, 21-year-old Artjola Sallahu, raped Ylber Jaku's parents. The perpetrator, who lived in England, returned to Albania to carry out the murder in revenge.
The crime occurred in the village of Plan on May 7. Meanwhile, a day later, on May 8, the Kukës Court imposed the security measure of "house arrest" on Artjola Sallahu, for violence against the parents of the perpetrator of her brother's murder.

The serious crime was committed on the afternoon of May 7, where Ylber Jaku, 41 years old, took the life of his neighbor, Reshi Sallahu, 34 years old, near his home.
The fatal ambush that befell the 34-year-old came from an escalating conflict that has been going on for at least 20 years, of which all institutions are aware and no one has intervened to resolve or extinguish it.
But the most serious aggravation occurred two days ago, when the victim's sister attacked the perpetrator's parents with an axe, seriously injuring them. After the incident, the couple's son arrived in the village of Plan, waiting for Reshit Sallahu to return to the apartment.
With a rifle, he shot her 8 times, killing her on the spot. The perpetrator, Ylber Jaku, waited for the police at his home with the murder weapon, while before arriving at his home, he visited his father and mother at the Military Hospital.
When he saw their dire situation, he set off for Has, committing the serious crime. However, the incident became even more serious when it was learned that Ylber had set off from England and that on the way he had also warned of the serious crime through a photo he had posted on social media.
It is also learned that the conflict between two neighboring families has been reported dozens of times and no one has reacted to the serious incident of two consecutive days, with one person killed, two injured and two people arrested.
