The photo of 33-year-old Alfons Kola from the village of Kallmet in Lezha, who was attacked to death in Brescia, Italy by his fellow villager Petrit Gega, has been published.
The serious incident happened a few days ago, while the victim's body has arrived in Albania.
The family of the victim and the suspected author of the event lived in the same neighborhood and had good relations, while the motives of the serious crime that shook the entire village remain unclear.
The author has refused to confess anything in front of the cameras regarding the motive that led him to commit the murder.
According to the witnesses, 52-year-old Petrit Gega followed the victim with a knife in his hand and after attacking him, he left the scene. But he was caught by the police an hour after the crime.
The security cameras of Santa Maria Street had filmed the entire scene of the fight that took place between the two Lezhians. Initially, there was a verbal argument between the victim Alfons Kola and the perpetrator Petrit Gega, then the 52-year-old stabbed him. The 33-year-old died in the hospital due to his injuries, while the author, who worked as a bricklayer in Italy, was caught by the police an hour later in his apartment where he lived with his family.
