The father of the 31-year-old receptionist, Eraldo Nevruzit, who was killed in Dhërmi by the owner of the hotel where he worked, has given details about his son's past.
In an exclusive interview for Euronews Albania, Shyqyri Nevruzi said that the boy had no prior acquaintance with the perpetrator of the crime, 43-year-old Gerald Shehu and the other two people from Korçka who helped Shehu to hide the victim's body.
He also said that his son had no criminal record, but added that only a security measure of "obligation to appear" was imposed on him since he was caught with 2 grams of hashish.
Eraldo's father added that the incident may have happened due to a momentary conflict, as according to him, the boy may have asked the owner for the money.
