Tirana Police continue the operation to capture 39-year-old Sadik Llani, the perpetrator of the murder of 27-year-old Ardian Baloshi, an event that occurred the day before in Paskuqan.
By reviewing security cameras, investigators were able to trace the suspect's movement route towards the Bovilla Lake area. Based on this data, RENEA special forces conducted intensive searches in about 15 buildings yesterday evening, but were unable to locate the 39-year-old.
In parallel with the controls in the Bovilla Lake area, officers have also carried out controls in the mountainous areas of Kruja, while the operation to capture him continues today.
During the search, police found the vehicle suspected of being used by the perpetrator abandoned near Lake Bovilla. According to investigative sources, no illegal items or evidence that could help locate him were found inside the vehicle.
As part of the investigation to fully uncover the incident, the police have questioned eight people. However, due to investigative secrecy, the investigation team has not provided further details regarding their testimonies or the leads being verified.
Authorities continue intensive searches for the arrest of the 39-year-old, while investigations into the motives and circumstances of the crime remain ongoing.
