Preliminary hearings have begun at the Tirana Court against minor Mario Përlleshaj, accused of the murder of his peer Martin Cani.
The hearing began at 1:00 PM on Monday, with Martin Can's parents also arriving. The trial will be held by a judge from the juvenile section.
Mario Përlleshaj is being held in the juvenile institution in Kavaja, after he was arrested as the perpetrator of the murder of 14-year-old Martin Cani near the "Fan Noli" school.
The serious incident, in which the 14-year-old was stabbed and his friend Luis Meçe was injured, was the result of arguments that had started between minors on the social network "TikTok".
