Hygerta Meta and her brothers continue to be under investigation in connection with the murder of their father Pëllumb Meta.
While this event still remains surrounded by mystery, it is learned that the 19-year-old has been in the hospital for a week, in a bad state of health. In addition to other checks, she is expected to undergo a mental check-up to determine her condition.
According to lawyer Kujtim Cakrani, this is a delayed procedure that should have been carried out earlier. On the other hand, the lawyer said that the key to unraveling this event is the wife of the deceased.
" The killer is not a girl. It was also proven at the shooting range that the girl did not have the physical skills and knowledge to use a weapon. It is a track that should be left aside, should be avoided. I think and believe that the key to this whole event is the mother, the wife of the deceased, who has full knowledge of everything that happened on the night of the murder.
The girl has been in the hospital for a week now, she will also be checked for her mental state, which is a delayed procedure. Whenever a crime happens, there is a reason. Nobody wakes up one day and says today I'm going to commit a murder. This happens either you are crazy, or for some other reason, and so the mental state must be taken into account.
As for the investigations, I think that Hygerta has nothing more to say, she has told everything, she took over the crime either for her brothers or for her mother. The latter should be interrogated systematically to show what happened, as I said, I think that is the key" - said the lawyer.
