A 24-year-old Albanian man has been arrested in Greece after being accused of killing an immigrant from Afghanistan. Greek media reports that the young Albanian was arrested this week, related to a criminal event that occurred on March 8.

The 24-year-old is accused of having shot dead the Afghan immigrant during a fight between two groups of young people from Albania and Afghanistan. According to the investigations of the Greek police, the fight between the Albanian group and the Afghan one happened due to a dispute related to the shopping for narcotics.

The arrested person has been accused in the past of complicity in intentional murder, attempted murder, as well as involvement in criminal drug trafficking gangs.
