Mario Perlleshaj, the suspected author of the murder of 14-year-old Martin Cani, will appear before the court tomorrow.
The 14-year-old was arrested while in prison for the murder of his peer on November 18. Yesterday it was reported that Perlleshaj had not yet been interrogated by the investigative team, as he was expected to be released from the hospital.
According to the police, there are some special rules for the interrogation of minors, while they emphasize that the testimony cannot be taken in the hospital. According to the police, the minor was given some information in the first moment after the event for the identification of the persons involved in the conflict, which is allowed by the procedure code.
Mario Prelleshaj is suspected to have been in the same class as the victim, at the 9-year-old Fan Noli school. The conflict between minors is reported to have started in the school yard, while it has worsened outside its premises. The perpetrator took out the knife and shot the 14-year-old, Martin Cani.
After being stabbed, Cani approached the school, walked a few meters and after starting to lose blood, collapsed on the sidewalk in front of the school. As a result of his injuries, Cani died in the hospital, while his friend, who was also injured, is out of danger.
