The dynamics of the tragic accident that occurred near the village of Pojskë, on the Pogradec-Qafë Thanë axis, where 32-year-old Amarildo Islamaj from Vlora lost his life, have been revealed. Investigations have revealed that the young man had stolen the vehicle in which he was involved in the accident just a few minutes before the incident.
According to information, Islamaj had found the vehicle parked in the village of Leshnica with the keys left inside and had driven away with it. A few minutes later, he lost control of the vehicle and was involved in the fatal accident.
Despite being transported to the hospital, the 32-year-old could not survive his injuries.
Meanwhile, the owner of the vehicle had reported the theft of the vehicle to the Pogradec Police Station. Subsequent investigations revealed that the perpetrator of the theft was Amarildo Islamaj, who lost his life in the accident that occurred moments after he picked up the vehicle.
