Socialist MP Erion Braçe, through a post on social networks, calls for justice for the four victims of January 21, who were shot in 2011 during the protest organized by the SP against the Berisha government.
Braçe calls the killing of four protesters a shooting without trial, while he says that justice has not taken any steps to punish those who ordered it, despite the decision of Strasbourg that requires a full investigation of the chain of command of the state involved in the killing.
Braçe says that the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana is holding the file hostage and that it does not even declare incompetence.
"Blood is not water! Blood does not become water! Blood must become justice! January 21 is not an ordinary day. It's a bloody day!
The state, the government, the armed forces and under its command, in a chain of command in the chain of command of the state, shot without trial, through the use of lethal force, four protesters - Ziver Veizin, Hekuran Deden, Faik Myrtajn, Aleks Nikan, peaceful protesters and unarmed!
This year also started without justice for them! This year, the Human Rights Court decided to seek Albanian justice - a complete and effective investigation of the chain of command of the state involved in the murder! Nothing happened!
The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana continues to hold the file hostage and reject any evidence, any suggestion, any decision - including the decision of the European Court - to investigate the chain of command of the state.
So, it neither investigates the shootings of the chain of command of the state, nor releases the file and the competence on it! It's a horror that this prosecutor consumes in a low voice so that I don't hear Sali Berisha!
Meanwhile; is undermining every effort in this country to have fair, equal and effective justice! It's easy; whoever wants to go to prison, if the chain of command of the state is not investigated, including in the killing of four protesters on January 21, this country can have anything, but not justice", Braçe writes.
