Donald Trump's former National Security Advisor, John Bolton, has spoken about the effect that US President Donald Trump will have on the Balkans.
In an interview for the show "Zone Zero" on Top News, asked about Richard Grenell's criticism of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti before the elections, Bolton noted that diplomacy should be done privately and that one-sidedness should not be shown in public.
Regarding the exchange of territories between Kosovo and Serbia to correct borders, Bolton said that efforts should be made, but that there must be full consent from both sides, Serbia and Kosovo.
Bolton said he is concerned about the policies Trump will pursue in his second term.
He emphasized that the Trump administration should pay attention to the Balkans, and according to him, it should even be a priority.
Regarding the non grata declaration of Sali Berisha by the Biden administration and whether the new Trump administration will lift it, Bolton said that all of this is in the hands of the new administration.
"However, I have not heard anything about this yet and whether it has been discussed," Bolton said.
