Donald Trump's former campaign manager Chris LaCivita has revealed why he agreed to work for the Albanian opposition. In an interview with Çim Peka on Syri TV, he said that it was not a problem for him that Berisha is "Non Grata".
-When you considered this CV of Mr. Berisha, apart from the similarity to President Trump, did the fact that he is sanctioned by the United States of America make you hesitate?
LaCivita: NO. In fact, these are the very elements that make this race and this opportunity so attractive. If we are dealing with the same people who prosecuted Donald Trump, they are the ones who are carrying out these persecutions against many other people, against Berisha, other political figures here and in other countries... so we want to help conservatives put an end to this practice.
As I have often said, since mid-January, with Donald Trump, since he was sworn into the White House, and how he became president of the United States... we have a proverb in America, which means we have a new sheriff in town. And Donald Trump is the new sheriff. And this applies not only to the American scene, but also to the world arena and stage.
