Asked if the opposition has a candidate for prime minister on the table and where Ilir Meta might be, he said that his name will lead the Freedom Party.
The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has commented on the partial union of the opposition in the Federation, where the signatures of Dash Sheh, Idrizi and Basha are missing.
Meta said that he has joined this initiative because it is in line with the objectives of the Freedom Party and they aim to return the country to the 'constitutional tracks'.
" I have been proposed a document as the head of PL, by PD and that document that has been made public is very principled and in accordance with the goals and objectives of PL. That I saw who signed it, but I signed it as if I wanted to sign anything that is positive that serves the common efforts to return the country to the constitutional tracks, to have a functional democracy , "said Meta.
Asked if the opposition has a candidate for prime minister on the table and where Ilir Meta might be, he said that his name will lead the Freedom Party.
" As far as my name is concerned, I believe that my name will lead PL, which will not only be one of the three main political forces, but will be the main factor and catalyst for change in the country. We prefer a candidacy that is as comprehensive as possible" , said Meta.
