Majority against coalition government, Gjiknuri: Failed model, sustainability is

The co-chairman of the electoral reform commission, Damian Gjiknuri, has spoken about governments with large coalitions, calling them failures.

According to Gjiknuri, the stability of a government is much more difficult to achieve and maintain in a coalition.

The MP explained that we have seen the failure of these governments in many European countries.

"Sometimes coalitions serve as ingredients for the destruction of governance, for reasons of parcelization. This is a problem of even the most developed countries, because you will really make compromises, but the governance becomes inefficient. Efficiency in government should be seen in the sustainability of a government. You have important decision-making that if it is parceled out for the interests of political groups, it does not move forward. I will give examples of Western Europe, that governments with broad coalitions are failed", said Damian Gjiknuri in Euronews.
