Abilekaj: Rama is barely holding on, the opposition is showing that it cannot

Analyst Enton Abilekaj, invited to the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV, spoke about the "messages" that came to the government from Washington, after the two congratulations on independence mentioned the fight against drug trafficking. Abilekaj said that "the government is barely holding on", but the opposition with the Foltoret that has started, with very few supporters, is showing that there is no one to overthrow Rama.

"It is difficult for an opposition that has lost elections from 2013 to today to inspire without changing its leadership. In a government that controls all power, it is difficult in any country in the world to have people who join it and are not afraid to protest. The opposition is not so comfortable and easy. They do not have optimal conditions for the opposition to be at its peak and they do not take advantage of it. By showing that it is bad, it does nothing good to hit the government, to give the message that this government can be overthrown.

We receive two messages from the US, both of which talk about drug trafficking in their congratulations on independence. Rubio says they will cooperate with law enforcement institutions on drug trafficking. Congratulating a country with these words is unusual.

"The White House continues to say we will cooperate to crack down on trafficking. There is something between Tirana and Washington that is not working. The government is barely holding on, when the opposition comes out with these protests, people say there is no one to bring it down," he said.
