Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha did not appear for the fourth time before the judicial police officer, to sign the decision of the Special Anticorruption Court.
This is the third Monday of this month, the day on which Berisha is obliged to appear before OPGJ.
This Monday also coincides with the meeting of the Regulation, Immunity and Mandates Council that will be held at 12.00, where SPAK's request for the removal of Berisha's immunity will be considered. Meanwhile, Rithemelimi has organized a protest outside the premises of the Assembly.
Berisha has invited citizens and democrats to the protest, while emphasizing that this rally was called by the opposition. He asserted that the protest has nothing to do with the decision that is expected to be made regarding the fate of his immunity.
"We do not protest about the person, but we protest strictly about the coup d'état within the state that Edi Rama is doing by taking over the power of the parliament. These protests will be non-stop now. There is no other solution", says Berisha.
Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha is accused of "passive corruption" and the security measures "obligation to appear" and "prohibition of leaving the country" have been executed against him.
