The chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, has spoken about the amnesty approved in Parliament between Reestablishment and the Socialist Party.
During his speech from a meeting with the Electoral Assembly of branch no. 3 in Tirana, Basha said that they approved the amnesty for the corrupt and not for the protesters.
"They dragged out the amnesty until one fine day they said let's do the amnesty, because inside they had put what in the popular language is called "goat meat". Goat meat amnesty means amnesty for the corrupt and not for anti-corruption protesters. This they did. But they could not do it without a few votes from those who sit in that chair with the votes of the opposition. With the work, sweat and blood of the democrats", said the leader of the DP.
Meanwhile, regarding the electoral reform, Basha said that his proposals are supported by all Albanians, regardless of political beliefs.
"Which, as you know very well, if we go outside, every citizen embraces them, regardless of their political beliefs. For open lists, for electronic voting and electronic counting, for Albania an area that guarantees the equality of the vote and for the vote of the diaspora.
