Analyst Frrok Çupi says that a "serious game" is being played between Sali Berisha and SPAK that, according to him, is not producing concrete results in justice. He said that the former prime minister has felt fear about the "January 21" issue. However, according to him, the impression has been created that Berisha has received guarantees that the investigations will remain superficial.
Çupi accused Berisha's alleged crimes of remaining unpunished due to a "protective umbrella", while also criticizing the lack of institutional will to move forward with investigations into serious political events.
"SPAK and Berisha are playing ebb and flow, but they are not producing any results. We are not producing any change. Berisha's crimes are going unpunished. This is the umbrella that protects Berisha's crime. Berisha has similarities with the former Brazilian president, both are accused of crimes, they have organized coups and both have gathered militants under the window.
Both dream that Berisha loves them. Berisha has committed crimes openly. The Albanian people have nowhere to get justice, because there are no institutions. Berisha wants to deafen the Constitutional Court, to make noise at the time it is considering the government's appeal for the deputy prime minister. He wants to overthrow the majority with extralegal tactics. On the other hand, it seems that there is coordination with SPAK. It is the work of scoundrels. Berisha has somehow felt the fear of "January 21".
"I have the impression that he has received guarantees from SPAK that it will only be a knock. A very serious game is being played in SPAK. This SPAK has never wanted and does not want to investigate the 'January 21' issue. The justice reform did not cut off Berisha's money supply channels to the justice system," said Frrok Çupi.
