Prime Minister Edi Rama is expected to leave today for Italy to participate in the funeral ceremony of former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.
The funeral ceremony will be held in the Cathedral of Milan, while many world leaders are expected to be present.
We remind you that this Wednesday, the governments of Kosovo and Albania were expected to come together in Gjakova, to hold a joint meeting.
In fact, the Kosovar side had done almost everything to host the meeting, but yesterday afternoon it was Prime Minister Rama, who announced that the meeting would be cancelled, news that was also confirmed today by the head of protocol of the Prime Minister of Kosovo.
The meeting was thought of down to the smallest details, where in addition to the slogan "Together in Gjakovë" the premises around the city library were decorated and covered with flags of the two countries.
In yesterday's conference with journalists, Prime Minister Edi Rama proposed to Albin Kurti a closer meeting, that the two prime ministers discuss the situation only with the presence of the foreign and defense ministers.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, the day before, said that 13 agreements would be signed between the two countries, but such a thing does not seem likely to be realized.
