The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, has reacted regarding the arrest of 4 armed persons in Saranda, who planned to take a 49-year-old hostage after a fight they had with him for weak motives.
Balla in his response emphasizes that the State Police must do everything to prevent criminal events and crack down on the possession of weapons without a permit, as well as cooperate with citizens to prevent criminal events.
"The State Police must do everything for the prevention of criminal events and the crackdown on the possession of weapons without a permit, which directly affect the increase in the parameters of the safety of life and property of citizens.
I congratulate the Saranda State Police, for increasing the preventive and striking forces, which resulted in the prevention of an attempt to deprive a citizen of his freedom, by 4 armed citizens.
The State Police must cooperate with the citizens and will provide police intelligence, in order to prevent criminal events", says Balla.
